20th Annual CVIDS Monticello Plant Sale, Potluck, & Auctions

Location:  Riverside Gardens Gazebo, Monticello, Iowa

Program:
9 AM: Set-up for Public Plant Sale
10:00 AM -1:00 PM: Sale  
Approx. 1 PM: CVIDS members Potluck and brief business meeting
Approx. 2 PM: Distribution of Silent Auction plants, followed by Live Auction of remaining plants

Directions:
From Highway 151: Take the Monticello, Hopkinton, Hwy 38 exit. Go into town past the high school to the first stop light. Turn right. Go north for 5 blocks. The gardens are on the left side of the street at the corner of 3rd and N Main, across from the Blue Inn Motel (2 blocks north of Hardees).

Reminders for CVIDS Members:


 
  • Please donate daylilies and iris for the sale.  Plants should be bare root and marked with name, size, color, hybridizer (if known), and price. Pictures always help sell plants.

  • Donated companion plants should be in pots, labeled, and priced. 

  • Don't forget to tell your friends and neighbors about the sale.

  • If you have small tables, please bring them for displaying plants.  Bring chairs for yourselves.

  • Please bring a dish to share for the potluck as well as drinks and table service for yourself.

  • Don’t forget sunscreen!
